I’m seeing a lot of people saying, throwing a lot of dirt at unconscious bias trainings and how they don’t work. First of all, nobody is saying one unconscious bias training is going to solve the world’s problems, right?
When we’re doing this work, it’s because it does work. It works in the sense of its opening perspectives. It’s opening people to different ways of looking at themselves.
So, my tip would be for every organization to empower people with this knowledge and let them know that they have to do the work on their own and give them the space to be able to do that work.
